About Us
Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre (“Sri Kota”) is a 9-storey, 232-bed tertiary private hospital, strategically located in the heart of Klang, Selangor. Purpose-built and equipped with modern medical facilities, Sri Kota stands as a trusted centre for comprehensive and specialised healthcare.
Founded on a vision to bring premium medical care closer to the Klang community and its surrounding areas, Sri Kota’s journey began in April 1997 with the laying of its foundation stone by the then Honourable Minister of Health, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Chua Jui Meng. This milestone marked the beginning of a commitment to elevate healthcare standards in the region.
Since commencing operations in September 1999, Sri Kota has experienced steady growth, with an increasing number of experienced specialists choosing to practise at the hospital. This growth reflects the confidence of the medical community in Sri Kota’s clinical excellence, facilities, and patient-focused environment.
Sri Kota is proud to be an MSQH-accredited hospital and the first MSQH-accredited tertiary private hospital in Klang. The hospital was awarded a full three-year MSQH accreditation from 12 November 2011 to 11 November 2014, followed by a full four-year accreditation extension until November 2018 after successfully completing the MSQH 4th Edition Survey (2nd Cycle). These achievements underscore Sri Kota’s unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
At its core, Sri Kota is dedicated to delivering affordable, high-quality, patient-centred healthcare, providing healing and compassionate care to the communities it proudly serves.
