A Cut Above began in 1979 as a tiny KL salon founded by Datin Winnie Loo and Dato’ Richard Teo, powered by pure craft and big ambition. With 47 years of experience, Winnie became the first Malaysian to earn the World Master of the Craft, setting a gold standard for hairstyling in the region.
From that modest start, A Cut Above grew into one of Malaysia’s most respected salon groups, known for precision, personalised service, and consistently high-level expertise. More than haircuts, it’s about style as identity, done properly, done with soul.
